How Did you find Syrnia?
Like a lot of us, I joined when I was really young. I think I was 13. While I don't have a clear memory of me joining, I vaguely recall looking up alternatives to runescape and coming across this game from a random google/forum search.

Can you give us a few of your fondest memories while playing Syrnia?
I don't really have any particular memory about syrnia. I've been playing for almost 2 decades. I have always shitposted in chat trying to make anyone laugh. I guess I enjoy doing that.

What's your favorite Skill, and why?
Don't really have one, I just train whatever i feel like. At the moment its been combat and I'll prob keep training for the foreseeable future. Wearing cool armor and weapons is bonus.

What's Your least favorite skill, and why?
Don't really have one, but the skill I have the least desire to train is trading. In the current era of syrnia, there's almost no reason to use shops when your clan stockhouse has everything you need.

Do you have a favorite Syrnia Holiday?
I actually dislike holidays because I end up having to move locations and being unable to afk combat. Last couple years it has gotten better since I have gained higher combat stats so I can afk a bit more so that's nice

In your opinion who do you think the coolest player or clan is in the game?
My clans pretty nice, everyone in here is pretty chill and fun to be around. People in chat are generally easy going and fun to troll.

If you could change 1 thing about the game what would it be?
Beset not being so crowded all the time but maybe I am biased. Or get rid of crowding in combat.
Combat ties into almost all aspects of the game and its criminal how slow it is.


1. To train combat you need armor/weapons (mining/smithing)
2. Food (Fishing/cooking/woodcutting)
3. Enchants (Magic)
4. Train 4 skills in order to increase xp/hr and go to better locations.
5. You can die
6. You even have to train speed for some bosses.


If you look at any other skill, it really only relies on 2-3 other skills.


Fishing - just need boat (construction) or rod/net (NPC shop)
Cooking - Just need raw fish (fishing) + wood (woodcutting)
Woodcutting - Just need hatchet (smithing)


And while level 100 smiths can get 30k xp an hour, the top end fighters can only get 1/3 of that afking.

What are your goals for the future here?
Keep training combat I guess, catch up to current 'best' gear before better gear gets added.

Can you share some details about your life outside of syrnia?
I am 31 years old, teaching math (math, engineering, physics, business, trades etc) in a local community college. Working towards becoming a professor one day.

What do you think about TLgrounds?
It's a great place to browse xp gains over a longer period. (Month, week, since beginning of year etc) It's a great resource to have.
