How Did you find Syrnia?
I was working nightshift for a multi-national IT company, and wanted to play a game I could leave running in the background while I was at work. I enjoyed text adventures on the Commodore 64, and Google led me here.

Can you give us a few of your fondest memories while playing Syrnia?
There are so many to mention. - Playing Syrnia with my wife and son was special. - Meeting all the big name players through the years. - Creating friendships with many great people. Aelias (aka SirDrinksalot) and FarinSongTeeth are a couple that stand out.

What's your favorite Skill, and why?
Ummm. It would have to be woodcutting, but then again this rut was created over 10 years ago when Aloria was the top forest, and I apsired to be as good as theodor_adorno. Farming became interesting much later as I closed in on KoolKitty7272's farming level.

What's Your least favorite skill, and why?
This is a toss up between smithing, magic, construction and trading. Though I'd have to say magic is my least favourite. Why though? It's just never interested me hence it is my lowest skill level.

Do you have a favorite Syrnia Holiday?
All Syrnian holidays are interesting. Anything that offers novel ways to gain experience, as well as new items is fun. Of those in the past, I'd say the Halloween then the Koban mask was introduced. I got the first in game, and the bidding war between Stormz_ and Rictor was funny XD

In your opinion who do you think the coolest player or clan is in the game?
The coolest player over the years has been Joves (Jove82), was brilliant being in -TL- with him when they were a force. He is genuine, loyal and very funny :) As for the coolest clan, I can only consider those I have been in. Pretty close between -TL-, ~FoS~ and Core. It might sound biased, but I'd have to say ~FoS~. This clan is funny as hell bordering on severe political incorrectness. It is VERY inappropriate too (for those who have visited will attest too). The big level, long time players here put others first. It's a big self-supporting family :)

If you could change 1 thing about the game what would it be?
A few things. Woodcutting needs an overhaul to bring it in line with other skills. I threw a plan at Borneo, he loved it but it seems the devs don't want to touch it for whatever reason. Overall a balanced progression and feature release for all skills at once rather than the mining, smithing and combat focus. Pirates need work too.

What are your goals for the future here?
None really now. Just plod along doing whatever I like, mainly woodcutting. I need to work on mining and fishing too, so maybe a few levels here and there for them. I will still chase one of every collectible, a few out of reach.

Can you share some details about your life outside of syrnia?
I won't share too much. Most of this will already be known to a few players. Male, father of 3 who still reside with me. I enjoy playing pool/eightball/snooker, division one in comp and representing my city in state/national comps. I follow the English Premier League and Australian Rules Football. I collect international coins (currently have sets from all except 3 who have never had their own currency), casino chips (Aussie and abroad), and Aussie Rules Footy cards. I love spontaneous road-trips and learning about other locations across Australia and the rest of the world, especially their history.

What do you think about TLgrounds?
I was one that contributed to the initial rollout when Langemol, Wyks, moc1, EvilGenius1, PraZ and Testament compiled information and guides etc. It's the best fan site for Syrnia, and now that it has active admins can keep up with the times.
