How Did you find Syrnia?
It was at school, actually! I saw two of my classmates playing the game on school PCs, and ended up joining them.

Can you give us a few of your fondest memories while playing Syrnia?
I have fond memories of outlands mining! I used to make deals with PKers so they would let me mine, and got invited to more than one OL mining party over time as a result. The community effort to build AC5 was incredible fun, along with the long race between myself and a clannie to be the highest level miner in [choob]! But very little can top the big mega-invasion. Knowing that we caused 333-ish k pirates to invade one location was great, and definitely very fun. Few things can match the feeling of community that forms when the pirates truly get serious and gather around Skull's Nose together to push some resource up!

What's your favorite Skill, and why?
Mining. It's very reliable in the material you can gain, which provides a sense of progression vs, say, fishing (which has a lot of randomness), and the constant addition of new minerals makes it feel so much more rewarding to push up the levels. If only there were more high-level afk mines..

What's Your least favorite skill, and why?
Thieving. There's nothing interesting that happens with it as you level up - frankly, there's a sweet spot where levelling up further may be considered a downside rather than an advantage!

Do you have a favorite Syrnia Holiday?
Birthday - gotta get to that enchanted mine! Though the OG christmas party island (before the new version) will always hold a place in my heart.

In your opinion who do you think the coolest player or clan is in the game?
Svava did free the pirates, so i'd have to say it's her ;) Though, [choob] is also an amazing clan. Totally not biased due to being a member :D

If you could change 1 thing about the game what would it be?
Allow pirate resources to transmute from one form to another after a timer, and in the same bloc, add higher level resources to the pirate stockhouse. Too many players are stuck with low level skilling to keep the psh running.

What are your goals for the future here?
Arrr, to make the mega-invasion I sent last time look like a tiny raid!

Can you share some details about your life outside of syrnia?
Well, I studied human biosciences in university, volunteered writing for a small news organization reporting on treatments that may reverse the aging process, and have now ended up programming software related to scientific analysis. It's been a journey.

What do you think about TLgrounds?
I love it. It's always been a great fansite, and one I use often.
